| I've had this TV since 1998. Today I turned it on, and the green power light is flashing. The screen is black with two horizontal lines in the center. The sound is working fine. I think something smells burned inside (I unplugged it). Any suggestions? |

| You say there are 2 lines in the center running across the screen? One of the most common failures in any Philips TV is the Vertical output IC. This sounds like another one. It is not too expensive to fix. In my shop - about $35-$40. |
