| Hi all,
I just got a new Sony VCR/DVD combo. I will be able to transfer my VHS tapes onto DVDs with this.....although it will probably take me years to figure out how. Anyhow.....I'm always hearing a soft hum from the machine. Is this normal? Thanks! |

| We had the same problem. Turned out that it was constantly searching for a signal to set the dvd/vcr clock. Set the clock manually, and the humming went away. Hope that helps. |
