if your local statio is close enough, a set of rabbit ears on top of the tv will suffice. for more distant stations you will need to get it to the outside antenna. you will need 1 convertor for EACH tv. the convertors use their own remote to change channles, so you can't just stick 1 somewhere and feed teh rest.

If you get a tuner with "RF Pass Through", when you turn off the box you can then still tune your local analog channels on your tv.

But it works for now.

I think that it will all become a little clearer (sorry, couldn't resist) next Feb. Unitl than I have my converter boxes and powered rabbit ears ready to go...
