Several months ago the problems began. First when the tv was turned on, the whole right side of the screen about an inch thick from top to bottom would not show the picture but within second would fill in with the rest of the picture. Every day it seemed to grow a bit in size and then the tv started turning itself off after being turned on. For awhile, you'd have to keep turning it on several times in a row as the picture issue from the right margin seemed to be the cause. Now it takes at least ten times of turning it on after it turns itself off to get the picture working. The screen is not just the margin issue now but also horizontal lines across the whole screen--the pciture is just all unclear though you can sort of see what it is. Then the tv shuts off until after ten or so times(of turning it back on) it finally clears up. On occasion, it also just shuts off. It is worsening and taking longer to clear up to watch tv. The color appears fine as does the sound and everything else. Any ideas? Can I fix it myself? Can anyone recommend how? Thanks in advance for your insights. |
