Connecting iPod to Receiver

I have an Aiwa AV-S17 receiver, and I want to run my iPod through the Aux input. The specifications for the Aux input are: 200 mV, adjustable (47 kohms). Can I just get a Y-cable with the proper adapter for the headphone jack and plug it in? It's an iPod Touch if that makes any difference. Thanks, Steve
