I can not align the red on the convergence page. I have followed the directions for aglinment but the red will not move.I have tried calling the mfg but because the tv is out of warranty they will not speak with me.Any help would be greatly appericated.Has anyone else had this problem?

To me it sounds as if your convergence Stk chips have blown when this happens its a possibility it took out some resistors and pico fuses too.

I'm no TV repair tech but I fixed 2 TV's that had blown Stk's.
so most likely its the same problem you got.

Not much i can help you with but maybe put you on track to what the problems is called.... search up about TV convergence and try Philips convergence.

Lots of rear projections got this problem do to the chip running extremely hot.

If you can solder and have the equipment to solder you can probably do it your self much cheaper then a repair shop would charge you.
