Electronics--Magnavox solid state radio research

Hello!

I'm doing some research for my son. He was given a Magnavox solid state radio, probably from the 1960's. It sits on a table or shelf, but it is about 3 - 3 and one-half feet across and about 6 inches high and about 6 inches deep. The model # is 1FM031 and the serial # is 1531864. We would really appreciate any information anyone here might have about this radio.

Thanks for your note. I also saw the picture on eBay. I haven't had a chance to listen to the radio yet, but it appears to be in very good condition for a radio built in the '60s.

I have found a solid state lear jet stereo 8 track portible model # P-560 made in detroit mich. serial#6636646. I dont know anything about it like the year. the stereo works great but the 8 track doesnt. the speakers pull apart for stereo effect. Runs on ac & dc. batterys have never been put in it. can any one tell me anything about this? year, is it worth anything?
