| Weird question. I have a 42" Magnavox that will turn on in the middle of the night on its own. It does this infrequently. Sometimes I also have trouble with volume, in that I will try to turn it down and the screen will go blank and quiet for 4-5 seconds then come back on. When it does this you have to turn it off on the set, the remote will not work (however I have no problem changing channels.) Thoughts anyone? |

| Some TVs now have the option of turning themselves ON as well as OFF at pre-determined days/times. Make sure you haven't accidently set it up to turn on. Not sure what to think about the sound problem. |
