| Our Philips 32" (32PS60 B129) started when powering it on you got a black screen with a white square flashing in the center then shuts off.. turn it on again repeatedely and the square will get larger and keep turning off.. after turning it on and having it shut off on its own numerous times the tv will eventually get a regular picture on the screen except on the right side theres a black bar from top to bottom about two inches in, if you keep turning it off and on eventually the picture will be normal...(The picture was fine and volume was normal when it worked correctly) but once its working after several minutes the volume and channel automatically changes on its own.. we noticed when it was working some channels that had bright colors or a black picture with white on it , it seemed like that made it shut off or change channels, volume, and all other menu changes.. does anyone know how to fix this without having to send it somewhere?? I have knowledge of electronics and am capable of repairing the tv, I just need to know where to start looking for trouble shooting this particular tv.. any help is greatly appreciated... THANKS |
