Mitsubishi projection tv problems.

My TV, when I click it on,it cuts back off after 2 secs, indicator is on then back off.It does not actually power up to see the screan.Its a 42" Mitsubishi projection TV,model # WT-A42 MARCH 2003.Any info would help,even if it's not good--like throw it away,thanks.
