| I have a sony DVD/VCR model # SLV-D500P. Im experiencing some issues with the vcr aspect. the picture doesnt 'track' true. no amount of fiddling with the tracking helps there is always doubling/screen splitting and snow. sound is spot on though. i tried 'cleaning the heads' with q-tips and a very small amount of isopropyl alcohol and it seemed to do nothing. i use a coaxial cable to connect it to the tv. any ideas or suggestions anyone? |

| Sounds like an alignment issue or the video head is damaged. Probably time to take it to a tech for repair or replace it. |
