IR Toto Urinal Problem

Not entertainment electronics unless you have toilet sense of humor.

Can't seem to get the IR device to autoflush on the Toto urinal. It has water and power. The plumbers think taht there may be an issue with French door transparant panes opposite the IR sensor. Any thoughts?
