I subscribe to cable and all my tvs have great pictures except for one. I never had a problem with it until recently. Now it has squiggly, snowy diagonal lines across the screen, no matter what channel. I've tried unhooking the cable wires, switching them out with other cable wires, unplugging the power cord on both the DVR and the TV and re-memorizing the channels but nothing works. Could this be a cable company problem? Any ideas or suggestions? I don't know if some of the settings may be incorrect??

Do you have more splitters of the cable before that tv than the others? The signal will degrade with each splitter, as well as a long run.

The other tvs don't split at all and I think I put at least two together on this one, have to check. The same thing was happening on my tv in the kitchen, however, and it only had one cable. The picture isn't too bad in there right now. But I've tried jiggling it, loosening it, tightening it, nothing helps.

If it happens on more than one TV, then call your cable company.
