| I am thinking about dropping my Talk America phone and DSL and switching to Earthlink for there True Voice cable phone line and internetnet connection. They are advertising $19.95 for the phone service and $41.94 for internet. Looking for feedback. Is the phone really $19.95 or are they going to add another $25 in tax and fees like Talk America does? |

| If they are advertising a phone service that sounds great, you need to read the fine print first. Generally they will say that it is available for 3, 6 or 12 months at that price and then it will go up to the normal price, whatever that is. Then there are the "nickel and dime us to death" charges that they add for taxes and surcharges on top of that. You really need to call them and ask them how all this works with regards to their prices. Don't get duped by the ads. |
