Konka TV Problem

| hi all,
i'm having a problem with a konka tv model:K2001um. my problem is none of the buttons work anymore. when plugged in the tv comes on, but can only be shut off by unplugging it. i have sound, but can't ajust it. can anyone lead me in the right direction? Thank you in advance. |

| Buttons may be "corroded" by using too much glass cleaner, such as 'windex'on the picture tube. If so, it will run down the front of the picture tube, drip on the control buttons, causing them to 'leak'. Also, if coke or any other carbonated drink is spilled on the set, it can run down the front and corrode the control buttons. Any one of these problems will cause the buttons to not operate and the set to come on when plugged in. Check it out. pw |
