Hello. I recently bought a Magnavox 32" LDC TV. The model no. is 32MF231D/37B. I connected my DirecTV satellite receiver to it with the S-Video and Audio L + R cables. At first everything was fine when I turned on the TV; the usual channels were being shown just like on my old set. However, after a couple of minutes the screen would become totally distorted with black and white lines. There is a static sound as well. During the time of distortion, I cannot do anything to the TV with the remote nor manually (like turning if off, change channel, change volume). I have to wait for it to eventually shut off on its own. After turns it automatically shuts off, I cannot turn it back on again, either manually or with the remote. The only thing I can do is unplug the power cord from the back of the TV and wait about 60 seconds then plug it back it. Then I can turn on the set, but it does the same thing over and over. Please help!
