| pretty rare issue. usually tv's picture dies or will not power up. i have older 27" set. both channels of sound are garbled now. video is fine. now, how to work around that? use audio output and feed an audio system? anything with low level audio inputs should work. maybe find a boom box? think it might be speakers in tv? nah, that never happens. they are pretty robust. probably the audio portion of the tv tuner card? |

| if it is in the audio section, other than the amp for the speakers, then even the line out will be garbled. more likely someone busted the speakers or they dry rotted. |
