| My understanding of this is. Run two wire speaker wire from
both speakers to a volume control in room and then run four wire from the volume control to a reciever while paying attention to which colors of the four wire goes to which speaker. I will be connecting about 4 areas this way to a multi zone reciever. Does this sound right? I am also connecting surround sound speakers for movies. |

| make sure the volume control is a stereo one. many recievers will shut down or short out if you conenct the left/right together. also, you cannot run zip cord style speaker wire inthe wall, it has to have a jacket. |
