| Phillips Magnavox Projection TV 9P5540C1 Lost Picture and Sound But Power Is On, Does anyone know what this could be ?
It is a 55'' DTV. The tubes are firing up and power is on.I'm not getting any sound and video , just a black screen. |

| I can't recall where I saw a similar problem but it concerned a capacitor in the power supply. In my experience I have also seen where a fusible resistor just needed replacing. I don't know how old your unit is but many of the newer Phillips/Magnovox electronics are made by Funai which is a Communist China product. |
