Direct TV bumps to Channel 1

Starting a few weeks ago each time I press the mute button on Direct TV, the channel jumps to Channel 1. This has been happening on 2 of my 3 tvs ever since they added channel 1 to the Direct TV lineup. The tvs are 2 different brands. One has a Direct TV remote; the other has an Aurora MX950 Universal Remote. Direct TV claims it has never heard of this problem. Anyone else out there with this annoyance?
