| I am in San Antonio. I had Time Warner hook up the cable tv.
I have had tv with them each time I come down here with no problems. Last time was 2 years ago. This time I have no picture. I have the same exact tv in another state that works fine with a digital signal. The digital is already 'converted' at the tv station so I don't need a box. Would there be a reason that I need a box?? The Time Warner guy didn't say anything about a box when he hooked up the tv- just said my remote batteries were dead and I needed new ones. I got new ones and it still is not getting a picture. Don't they convert to digital at Time Warner or the tv station? Thanks |

| TV model number ? most cable companies (in most states) now scramble every channel It's possible that in "another state", they don't |

| If your tv has a setup mode, select it. Find the selection which allows you to pick from several cable formats. One of themmight be what you need. |
