| Hello. I have a Motorola SD4581 cordless phone. Whenever I receive a call, it automatically goes into speakerphone mode when I answer it. I'm not pressing the hands free button, but just the answer button on the hand set. Why is it doing this? I've tried resetting the phone base and hand set and re-registering the hand set to no avail. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks. |

| Well, I've discovered the solution to the problem on my own. Seems that on the handset that if you turn off the key pad/button beeps that this problem occurs. Turn the key pad beeps back on, and no more trouble. You can set the key pad beeps to be the safe as the ringer setting on the handset and it will be ok also. |
