 o
excessive lines in tv picture

I have an Apex Model # GT2015 which has alot of white lines in the picture it's hard to explain but it looks like there are alot of visible scanlines on the screen that go in a horizinal direction and towards the bottom of the screen the lines begin to form a curve which makes watching the TV extremly annonying and I was wodering if there was any way I could fix this because at the moment it's my only TV and I cannot afford to go out and buy a new one.

Here is a picture of the TV which shows the problem I am having in hopes it might help someone figure out what might be wrong with the set and possibly provide a fix.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies

I hade or have a 25 inch tv that had what I call a woodgrain disturbance - looks like yours. It died after a couple months or so. Had problems starting up fineally woulndt start at all.

209 bucks got a 32 sharp display model with digital tuner to replace it.
