| I need help with my phillips magnavox 27" tv that I purchased back in the late ninety's. Tonight we had a power surge, the tv was on a power surge protector and the power got so weak and everything including the lights and computer was barely working and then my tv when black. It has a little line of color at the top of the screen. I unplugged it trying to reset it but nothing is working. Can someone helP??????????? |

| Your TV got damaged and likely will have to be repairs or replaced. If the lights dimmed, then you had a power sag, not a surge ... although there may have been a surge when it was restored. Does the surge protector indicate it has been blown? Typically there's an indicator light, or is it obviously burned/damaged? |
