TV Recessed Outlet

Anyone using a recessed outlet behind their flat-panel TV to hide AC and coax cables for neatness? Can a small power transformer for the cable adapter be squeezed in there? Any model recommendations? All information appreciated. Thanks. Bernie

RE: TV Recessed Outlet

While "clock outlets" were once one of the only available choices, there are now several recessed box choices from various manufacturers available. They have a built-in AC outlet, which can often accommodate a small transformer, along with low voltage feed-through and/or termination blocks.

Here is a link that might be useful: Here's just one example of a basic one from Legrand.
