Making a stand for Wise Men 'dolls'

Hi. I'd like to make some wise men - I already have the heads sculpted out of Fimo or somesuch (with a base of a styrofoam egg). Still, the heads are quite heavy and need a solid base on which to mount them. (Then I intend to make clothes). Any ideas? Thanks.

I can't quite picture your wisemen but when I made them one year I used dish liquid bottles that I filled with kitty Litter.....If you look you can find some that are practically shaped like a man's body.

I made Wise Men years ago, using 2 quart glass pop bottles.
(pop means soda in PA!)
