I have been looking for the milk disk doll pattern/disks/photos for years! A very special lady who took care of me made these in pastel colors and they were beautiful! This was in the late 1950's. I have a bunch written down.. and 1 15 in doll but no patterns for her but for a indian princess and a music box i have modified to fit her. Hancock's (if you have one nearby) carries all the brands of patterns, and they have regular sales which usually include patterns for .99 cents. Yes, the ones that usually sell for $12 or more. You might also look in the crafts dept for the ''baby doll'' kits that come with clothing patterns....couldn't cost much more than the branded patterns, Another idea is a doll from a thrift store or yard sale that has clothing you could deconstruct.

Hi everyone. I recently found a childhood doll of mine which I thought was lost forever. She still in ok condition despite being in the attic for 20 years. She was made by a neighbour as a gift. The neighbour has since moved on and I have no Ideas. She's stocky, firmly stuffed, possibly with wool, she used to be able to stand on her own feet ( there is some kind of cardboard in the bottom of her feet that has since warped.) She was my all time favourite toy. Can anyone out there recognise the pattern as I' d love to make another for a young relative. She did not come with the clothes she's wearing in the photo. She came in a short dress and the felt shoes pictured.
