I am sewing the Raggedy Ann & Andy for my Granddaughter and am having trouble getting the hair sown on. Can anyone please give me some suggestions as to best go about it. Thank You.

RE: Raggedy Ann Hair

I cut the yarn twice the length I want it, then make a stitch, pull it half way thru and take another small stitch to secure it.

I draw pencil lines on the head as a guide for stitching. Thread a long length of yarn (double the yarn) leave the length of yarn you need, take a stitch. Pull yarn up to match previous hair and cut. Making Raggedy's hair is tedious and time consumming but worth it. Paula
