Olychick, don't be afraid, we'll be happy to support you, I'm always glad to add another addict.....um.....convert to canning, LOL. I've used pressure canners my whole life, and every woman in my very large and extended family used them too, and none of us ever had any kind of mishap. Well, at least not a mishap that involved the pressure canner. (grin) You made a good choice, Olychick. With the "jiggler" you don't have to worry about your gauge being calibrated and there's no gasket to replace, plus they are so thick that they keep the temperature much more steady than my much older and cheaper Mirro did. I love the All Americans, the Cadillac of canners. Annie
