Your things are really cute! I love the cats eye, I haven't used it, but I think it's so pretty, soft colors. Love that pink & blue pearl one also. The pacifiers are adorable, but they'd scare the bejeebers out of me, liability issue. I don't know if you use Swarovski flat backs, but you might want to check into the lead content of the crystals on the. I believe it's 32%, but I don't know how/when, it's dangerous. You might also want to add a break point on your children's bracelets. That way if they get their arm caught on something, the bracelet will open at the break point, like a heavy, but open, jump ring at the clasp. That saves the child from breaking a wrist or from the beads on the bracelet going all over the place should it break. All you'd have to replace to fix the bracelet is the jump ring. Also write up a little disclaimer about supervising children with jewelry, etc. And put it in the bag with the item.. Can you tell I'm paranoid???? I sell through my site, eBay & Etsy. Etsy is not so hot, but it's inexpensive. I do craft show, a TON of custom work, word of mouth, neighbors, etc. As for displaying your jewelry, if it's mostly children's stuff, that fun! I'm thinking white Teddy bear props, maybe some pastel wood cubes for risers. I'd use a white table cloth and displays. Nile corp is good for displays. Bring plenty of business cards too. I had a bowl of candy out for the kids also, they liked that Good luck!

I love this kitchen!! I love the character and the timelessness with so many of today's great features that we all want. I have been planning a kitchen remodel for what feels like 2 years now and my layout is very similar with the exception to the amount of space you have to the left of your double wall ovens. Thank you for all the detailed pictures as this validates a lot of my current layout choices, especially the corner of your sink wall / cooking wall where I've been back and forth 100 times and where your double ovens are located!!

ttodd, I wanted to share my experiences with you. My mom and her husband (only grandfather my kids knew) built each child a dollhouse. And let me tell you these were not your ordinary dollhouses. They started out as a kit, and as in real life, there were lots of upgrades. He absolutely loved woking on them. There is copper flashing, shaker roofs, gutters,etc. My mom decorated the interiors, and they were incredible. Each girl got one (different years), and then they made my son a horse barn. Everything was electrified (I highly recommend that for the lights!) Here is the only downside. They are huge. They are a pain to store when they get older. My kids are 23,21,and 19. They are not in homes of their own yet, so we are storing them, but they will take them eventually. They are on rolling platforms, so the kids could push them up against a wall, and then roll them out when they wanted to play. I have quite a love/hate relationship with the dollhouses. Of course the love far outweighs the hate. My mom passed away about 11 years ago, so it is really special to see what she did. Oh, and both of the girls had a box of Christmas decorations (including lights) to put up on the outside of the house as well as the inside. Also had a Spring collection of things too, to decorate with flowers, etc. btw, while we are getting the house ready to be sold, they have all been removed to a friend's house. I think my house looks bigger now without them in there!!!

Hi jaluca, welcome! The floors are just a shade over 5" wide, they are all one width. DH and I had decided on random widths and when I went into the reclaimed flooring place I changed my mind at the last moment and went with all 5". I think both would have looked great, but I'm very pleased with the 5". We have a water-based finish on the floor. We opted not to go with a more typical oil-based finished in part for environmental reasons (and to reduce odour) but also because oil finished tend to yellow the hardwood and I loved the blonde/light brown colours in the birch.
