Time Out Dolls

I see the post of the pattern might be old. Is there anyone out there who could forward me a pattern and directions for making time out kids. Also anywhere to find the heads hands and feet of dolls about 18 ma to 2 yrs old. I am trying to make amish dolls. Looking for the hard rubber type. Guess you can tell I rather new at this.

Hi Sylvia, I cant help you with the Time Out kids but for body-parts check out CR'S CRAFTS ( http//www.crscrafts.com ).....they have a Great selection of kits and body parts, even heads......hope this helps.

Hello, if you are willing to pay for copies i will be happy to make them for you the dolls are 36", pattern includes directions and cloths, choice of 3 different dolls.

I will see if I can find my time out doll pattern.. and copy it and mail it to you.. I never ever used the pvc pipe or wood, as I was always afraid a child could get hurt and that the wood or pvc pipe could break thru the fabric.. I just stuff them very snug and they stand up find.. here are some pics of mine.

Hi everyone! Just joined...love crafts & narrowed it down to a few craft categories. 1. I do wire jewelry & have macramed since the 70's. I'd like to make polymer clay beads, but no nothing about polymer clay! 2. I'd enjoy sewing simple, dress-able dolls & bears! 3. Then there's learn to knit so I could make "Knitted Babies", by Caire Garland, "Stylish Knits For Dogs", & knit caps & clutches. I have quite a bit of (4-ply?) nice & soft wool. I'm a hopeless "Craftolic"! I've just listed 6 or 7...& I forgot to mention learning to wood-burn gourds! And then there is "One Stroke Painting"! In conclusion, I like to think I'm a Connoiseure of all crafts, a master of few. I have sewn since Barbie Doll patterns emerged in the 60's, I'm picking the dolls & bears for now. My favorite Christmas presents ever were in 1965. Santa brought me a BEAUTIFUL hand-crank, tan metal, chain-stitch, (Singer?) sewing machine! I just loved it! At The Denver Dry Co, my mom & dad let me pick a sewing basket with BEAUTIFUL blue-green antique-colored tapestry. They bought me "McCalls Needlework Treasury". So a couple of questions to all you experts here at the GardenWeb: 1. So what exactly IS a "Time Out Doll"? I've never heard of or seen one! 2. What are the hottest-selling fabric crafts for shopping mall "Christmas Fairs"? I have tons of un-napped fabric, a sewing machine, & am proficient in this craft. I can knit scarves & have the needles & wool. Thanks for info on these questions! ;)

I use stuffed childrens footed pj's for the bodies and stuffed knee hi nylons for the head. You don't need a pattern if you use these and you can make any size.

This may be a little late, but I beleive I have one or two of these patterns, uncut. Really cute. If I still have them you're welcome to them at no charge. Let me know.
