doll body pattern wanted 17'

Hi everyone new to this forum. I am looking for a doll body pattern for a berenguer 17 inch doll. I bought a smaller berenguer 13 inch doll but the body is way to small for it and looks ridiculous, so want to make a bigger one. They are a baby type doll.

Hi B. Dolls of a given height are rearely the same body shape. An 18 inch doll can be baby, toddler, child, teen or adult (lady) Each of these body shapes vary dramatically. I suggest that you buy the doll you thing your grandaughter would like and draft directly from the doll. Basic patterns can easily be tizzed with a bit of lace and gathering. Well, I can help with the painting part. Use normal muslin, then coat with 2-3 coats of gesso. Apply acrylic paint...when dry sand. Then you can coat with Krylon matte spray to protect it. If you want the doll soft bodied, do the arms and legs seperately, and mask off the neck and only paint the head. I hope I've helped a little! I am looking for the Santa and Mrs. Santa crochet patterns that fibre craft put out I think there are three of each.I have the old world santa pattern but I need the others. Mrs. Claus patterns I dont have any of. I use to make these back in the 90s or maybe 80s. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.
