Catching up on some older posts and first of all Congrats Candy on your precious new granddaughter :) Her 'big brother' looks so very happy and proud of his little sister - secondly I must admit I was sure that was a picture Dylan's mother since I have never seen a picture of you before - you are way too young looking to have two grand children. Your doll quilt is very cute. It is so much fun to make doll quilts. I have made several for my granddaughters. My granddaughter has 2 that she plays with that I made for my DD. I know your Grands will enjoy it. TFS Sally

Thanks, all! I'll give it a shot. I hadn't really been thinking about mini's but then I bought this cute little garden ornament in an antique mall.... So, I was thinking it needs something small near/around it.... so, I was perusing the small/mini hosta at Made in the Shade's website and thought Baby Doll was really appealing. One thing leads to another, doesn't it? I'm hoping it will tolerate some sun for a while - about 1/2 day - moisture won't be a problem. Any hosta I plant will have to be able to tolerate some sun. Even my "shady" places have some strong sun exposure for at least part of every day. Eventually, the trees will provide some more protection. BTW - here's the cute little statue/birdbath in the garage, with my potted hostas sleeping above:
