| We had a water problem that went undetected for some time in our "about to be finished" basement. We found several of these "creatures" living on the damp carpet. The one in the picture is about 1 inch in diameter. They look like pasta! I never saw them move, and when I pick them up there is no movement.

| OK --those are really creepy pictures. They look like little mushrooms. How do you get rid of them? |

| Dry out the environment and they'll go away. |
