Spot clean place mats??????

I bought some Christmas placements and a table runner online because they were priced at a fraction of the original cost. I was so thrilled to get them at an affordable price!!!

Just looked at the cleaning tag --- 75% poly, and 25% Algodon. And --- spot clean only. WHAT????? Placemats that are used for eating with family and little crumbcrunchers that regularly spill milk and stuff????? I will Scotchgard them but what it that all about? At the reg. price, they would have been about $3.00 ea. That is a bit much to pay for disposable placemats!

Polyester/cotton blend. Hand wash and line dry. Unless they are really precious to you, then you could dry clean them.
