While having new lino laid my husband pulled out our large American style fridge freezer without unplugging it and the wire pulled out from the back of the fridge freezer with a loud band and flash and tripped the fuse box. Does anyone think that the fridge freezer is now ruined or is it a case of just rewiring it?

Just needs the cord properly re-attached and it will probably be fine.

Almost certainly ok, glad no-one was hurt.
