awhile ago i posted that i liked the vinegar health drink, because it gave me energy and decreased appetite. another thing i found is grapefruit pectin pills. it satiates hunger. i use the www.bragg.com organic vinegar and www.swansonvitamins.com grapefruit pills. both are very inexspensive to use.

If they work for you that's great! I have a trouble with acid though - too much and I get itchy and sore spots in my mouth (TMI). No way could this body handle all that acid. They don't effect you like that?

Portland from Glendora does really well for me in the shade (others seem to agree on HMF). It's very, very fragrant, repeats well, and is about the size you want or a little bigger (depending on how enthusiastic it is about garden conditions). Nice clean, abundant foliage too. Reine des Violettes does well in shade. She's mucho fragrant and thornless too. Another you might want to look at is Sidonie. She's similar to Glendora but a lighter color. Mine is doing well in partial shade. I also really like Grandmother's Hat. Mine is just a wee slip of a thing as she arrived only recently, but when I've seen her full grown, what a lovely plant. the pics are great. Im still working on getting my pics up.and not those box x things. Very nice job on your garden. There is so much wasted space b/w some of the houses here in Glendale. we were lucky and the previous owners moved the fence up as far as they could it gave us two nice sized side yards one has my raised veggie beds/compost/shed the other is similar to yours It is still to hot in the summer but we are working on it. Gesila, would you be so kind as to reveal the location of such a nursery? I'm meditating about a hosta road trip, maybe renting a big RV and driving to the hosta botanical gardens and nearby nurseries specializing in hosta too. Any the sell not about $20 will be of particular interest. You know, the Afterglow that I won at FirstLook12 was from Walters, and it is growing fine this year.
