How can I persuade my father to stop driving?

| My dad has been informed by 2 doctors that he should not be driving. However, he refuses to give up the keys. What can we do?
The same question was posted by me in http://www.caring.com/questions/how-can-i-persuade-my-father-to-stop-driving. But I needed to make sure to consider as many options possible.

| The doctors should report him to motor vehicle. We are going through this with my father-in-law right now and he was reported to DMV but he still insists on driving. It sure is a worry and I know what you are going through. |
