I say, go for it. I know they have a new plan, but I have found in the past, they have an excellent program. In the past I did lose most of the weight, and it wasn't too hard, but alas, it is too expensive for me. When we are on a limited income, we have to budget carefully, and WW's weekly fee seems to go up and up. I truly wish I could afford to join again (boy, do I need it1) I still have all of the leterature from when I did belong, and have decided this week end, bring it out, study it and I'm going to start my own personal WW plan. I was a member online up till about 3 months ago and I loved it. But when I got to my goal weight and then onto "lifetime" member, I didn't feel I needed to keep paying to be an online member. I do, however, go in monthly to weigh in, since it's required to maintain lifetime membership. With all that said, I loved having access to the online tools. Having been a member, you know how they encourage tracking everything you eat? I never could get into writing down everything I ate, but keeping track of it online was easier for me, and the neat thing is that as soon as you record a food online, the points, etc. are automatically figured for you. Another thing I like is that after your weekly weigh-in you can come home and record your weight online and it'll show you a graph of your losses, how much you have left to get to goal and all kinds of other good info. You could always cancel it if you really don't like it too. Good luck!

Thanks, everyone! It took about 3 weeks before I stopped craving sugar. I do still put sugar in my coffee - it's my treat to myself. I agree with Annie about attending the workshops and finding a leader that you like. One of the best tips I've received is making a "clean environment" meaning to keep only the good healthy food in your kitchen. For myself, I know that if I have chips or cookies or ice cream in the house, I will eat it all. I just don't have the willpower to eat one cookie. :) They do hand out lots of recipes and good information each week and just learning better ways to make the dishes you like and getting the support from fellow members. Ours is a very entertaining group and it's fun to be there. I don't purchase their food at all. I do have a hot air popcorn popper and several cookbooks that I bought but I would rather learn to eat regular food from the grocery store than the specialized products they offer. It's all about making good choices and they give you the tools to do that. Even when it comes to eating out, there is a section on the app listing restaurants and what they offer and how many points their entrees are. That is so helpful. It allows me to go out to eat and make good choices, even if one meal might be higher in points, I can plan my day around that and mitigate the damage. LOL It's very helpful and supportive and I highly recommend it. I am an emotional eater so I struggle some days more than others. But even if I have a gain one week, I know to just get back on track and continue on. I don't beat myself up about it. I really do feel so much better that it's well worth it. Good luck.
