Recipe - Smoky Thousand Island Salad Dressing

| From Light and Tasty magazine: (T is tablespoon and t is teaspoon)
Smoky Thousand Island salad dressing
1/2 cup reduced fat mayo or salad dressing
2 T sweet pickle relish
2 T ketchup
1 T hickory barbeque sauce
1 t prepared horseradish
1 t prepared mustard
1 t Liquid Smoke (optional)
Mix all ingrediants in a small bowl until well blended. Store, covered, in the refrigerator. Yield 14 tablespoons
2 T = 56 calories, 3 g fat (1 saturated), 6 g carb |

| Very interesting recipe. I usually don't like Thousand Island Dressing because it is too sweet for me but this one has some twists like the horseradish, mustard and liquid smoke. Do you like this recipe? |

| I just found it in a magazine. I was looking for a salad dressing recipe. I will need to borrow the horseradish from someone else. Mom?? I think it would be cheaper to make it yourself than buy it. Maybe not... Kathy |

| Kathy, buy it, use what you want and keep the rest in the fridge. It's great that way and so is ginger. That's the only way I can buy either one. |
