RECIPE: Looking for: Help Please! Thumb Print Cookie

| I have a recipe for jam filled thumb-print cookies that says to dip the cookie in egg white and then roll in nuts. I am skipping the nuts but do you think I still have to dip the cookies in the egg yolk?
I was going to dip them in sugar but not sure if I still need the egg...
Thanks very much!

The egg white is to make the nuts stick...dip them in sugar if you want....but they will be fine without... The sugar will stick better with the egg....but some will stick without the egg. Frankly, I wouoldn't dip them in either egg or sugar. Linda C |
