RECIPE: Probably the ultimate chocolate cookie

Just want to share this for the holidays. I think this is an incredible {{gwi:1497781}}!

1 1/2 cup butter; softened

1 1/4 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup cocoa

1 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt

12 oz. chocolate chips or chunks (semi-sweet)

Cream butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture, fold in chips. Using a 2-inch scoop, place onto ungreased baking sheet (I like to use cookie sheets lined with parchment paper). Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes, until set and tops just begin to crack. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes before transferring to rack lined with a brown paper bag to cool completely. **Placing a paper bag on rack to absorb grease will help make cookies chewy. Makes about 40 cookies.

*Use a high quality chocolate in these. Store cookies in an air tight container. I store them in the freezer and only take out what I want to serve about 15 minutes before.
