| I love this stuff! I'll eat the whole pan! LOL My husband and daughter like it, but not as much as I do. It reminds me of when I was little and my mother used to make something similar to this - couldn't always get marshmallows back then. It's so easy to make too. I always add slightly more corn syrup than called for - just a little more above the measuring line just in case I measured a little bit more of cocoa - don't want too much of a cocoa taste.
Chocolate Rice Krispies Squares ¼ cup cocoa
Combine cocoa, butter, corn syrup and sugar in a saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat just until mixture comes to a boil, then remove from heat. Stir in Rice Krispies. Pack lightly into a greased 8-inch square cake pan. Cool and cut in squares. |
