| Hi,
I was served some type of Ricotta pastry when I was visiting someone a long time ago and many times I have wished I had asked for the recipe. It was so good. It was not a cake or a cheese cake per se. I seem to remember it was somewhat flat with like a filling in the middle. It reminded me of a cheese danish only with a very generous ricotta filling instead and not cake like at all. I know I am not doing a very good job describing it..lol. It was a long time ago. I just thought maybe someone would recognize what I was talking about. thanks..

| Did it have chocolate in it? If not, see if the rest of the recipe below is similar & you could probably omit it. |

| ginger...thanks very much for the recipe. No, I don't think it is similar to the one I am trying to locate, but it certainly sounds delicious. One cup of rum in the filling!! LOL Sounds really delicious! :-) |
