RECIPE: I can't find my recipe for sour cream pie topping!!!

I can't remember if its one cup sour cream and 1 cup sugar or if it takes 1/2 cup sugar. After adding vanilla I spread it on a baked pie and put it back in the oven for 10 minutes. It makes a lovely, firm custardy topping. I don't know how I could have forgotten this, I need it NOW. Does anyone else use this topping?

A cup of sugar would seem like an awful lot for 1 cup of sour cream.

when I make a sour cream topping for my cheesecakes, I use 2 cups sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar, & 2 tsp. vanilla extract. If you like your topping a little sweeter, you can add more sugar to taste. But this is plenty sweet to our taste.
