LOOKING for: Butter Cookie Recipe

| Would anyone like to share a T&T butter cookie recipe that can be used in a cookie press. I think I lost my old recipe and haven't made them in years. I don't think my recipe had a lot of ingredients, weren't too sweet and melted in your mouth. Thanks you. |

Here's one I like:
NORWEGIAN SPRITZ (6 dozen)
1 1/2 cups butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract (or vanilla)
4 cups flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder Thoroughly cream butter & sugar. Add egg, vanilla & almond extract. Beat well.
Sift flour again w/baking powder. Add to creamed mixture. Mix until smooth.
Force dough through cookie press, forming various shapes. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in a preheated 400° oven for 8-10 minutes. Cool.~~Bound to Please |
