RECIPE: A fast, easy cookie

PECAN QUICKIE COOKIES (about 24)
1 stick butter, softened
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 cup flour
2 TBL sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 300°. Beat softened butter until creamy. Add flour, sugar & vanilla & thoorughly cream. Mix in pecans. Dough will be crumbly. Form dough into balls with your hands & flatten on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle confectioners sugar over warm cookies & let cool.~~

sounds sort of like a quick version of Mexican Wedding Cookies. Do they taste like that?
