RECIPE: Unique Snickerdoodle Idea...

My mother was a wonderful cook and loved
to experiment with everything.
For Christmas, she would make the normal
snickerdoodles but she also made one that
we love to this day.
In a blender, grind some red hot candies
till they are the consistancy of sugar
and combine this with the white sugar
instead of ground cinnamon.
The kids in the family just love them
and they make a festive display on the table.
I think they would be neat for 4th of July!
