RECIPE: Fudge in a jar

Has anyone ever seen/have a recipe for fudge that you eat out of a jar with a spoon? I've made some over the years that would have probably worked better in a jar than in a pan, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for!

It sounds just like fudge that didn't set.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But what are the chances of the fudge not setting up because you actually WANT it to????
Maybe I could keep talking to it and tell it that it's for a special gift and it just has to turn out perfect.

Well, you can buy that fudge sauce in a jar to pour over sundaes, etc. I take it that's what your looking for. Allrecipes has quite a few "fudge sauce" recipes.

Here is a link that might be useful: fudge sauce

Fudge in a Jar

2 c sugar
4 envelopes choco bake
1 can evaporated milk
4 tbsp butter
2 tsp vanilla

slowly heat evap milk and chocolate over low heat. When the chocolate is completely melted add the sugar and butter and bring to a boil. Slow boil approx a minute then remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Let cool and pour into a jar. Delicious ice cream topping - if you want it thicker boil it a bit longer.
