| Hi folks -
We watch the food channel at night before turning in. After an episode of Roker, DH asked me to look for a featured product called 'Empire Torte'. One of these days I'll buy one or two, but for now we want to test our skills trying to replicate it. Check out the link, and I know I won't be disappointed!
TIA - Jessica |

| According to the site below which compares Williecake & the Empire, there's a cup of espresso in it. |

| Will have to find my Marcel Desaulniers' chocolate cookbook when I get home. Check below. I have no idea if any of these are similar. The quality of the chocolate you use would be key, I'm sure. |

| This one uses 1 cup of espresso & sounds closest to the descriptions I read. |

| Thanks *again* Ginger! In the show, we saw that the espresso machine Empire used is the same as the one we just bought. That's one of the reasons my DH is fired up! |

| You're most welcome. I think I'd try the last one first. I can't find my Marcel Desaulniers cookbook but when I do, I'll look through it & see what he has. |

| Ginger - we made #3 above - the one from the Kosher book - DH was very happy. DS said too much coffee flavor. It's a keeper, but feel free to share the one from Marcel if/when you find it! Jessica |

| Well, the amount of coffee could be adjusted, I'm sure. Nice that it doesn't have a ton of ingredients, too. |
